I'VE GIVEN YOU A BUNCH OF FREEBIES...

Now I'm asking that you help someone in return.

This Saturday, October 3, I will be walking in the "Light the Night" walk in downtown Columbus to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. I will join thousands of other people in finding a cure for leukemia, lymphoma, and other blood cancers. The walk is a nationwide evening walk to celebrate and commemorate lives touched by cancer.

-Leukemia is the number one disease killer of children under the age of 15.

-More than 616,000 Americans live with blood cancer.

-Every nine minutes, someone dies from a blood cancer.

-Ten times as many adults as children are stricken with leukemia. More than half of all cases occur in persons over age 60.

I am writing this to ask for your support. This week I donated my hair to Locks for Love for cancer patients who need wigs. If I can spare some hair, I'm sure you can donate some dollars. NO DONATION IS TOO GREAT OR SMALL and every bit helps!

This year I have a special link to the Light the Night walk. Our team is sponsoring a very dear friend of mine, Park Lipp. He was diagnosed with multiple myeloma January 2002. I became good friends with his wife Deb & their children Tiffany, Park Jr. & Jackie. Things didn't look all that well when I first met them. But over the last couple of years, things have really turned around. He's even been enjoying golfing. Something he never thought he would do again.

Please help me to help another family see their loved ones do something they love.

Donating is simple. You can donate directly through the link at the end of this post, or send a check in the mail.  If you prefer to send a check, please make your checks payable to: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Please take a moment to visit my page and consider giving to this worthy cause...you'll help fight blood cancers!
